Why is my furniture taking so long?

Most Sklar pieces are made to order. Once you place an order, the vendor schedules production, builds your piece, and ships it — often from overseas. Total lead times commonly range from 8 to 16 weeks, and can be longer for custom upholstery or imported items.

My order has multiple items showing different stages. Is that normal?

Yes. Items made by different vendors move through production and shipping on their own schedules. The tracker shows each vendor separately. Once all items have arrived at our warehouse, our team will reach out to schedule delivery.

What does "at Sklar's warehouse, partially received" mean?

Some items from your order have arrived at our warehouse, but others are still in transit. We usually wait until everything is here before scheduling delivery, unless you've asked us to deliver in stages.

I can't find my order number or ZIP code. Where are they?

Your Sales Order number (SO#) is provided by your Designer at the time of purchase. The ZIP code is associated with your order or delivery address. If you need help locating either, contact us at info@sklarfurnishings.com and we'll be happy to assist.

The tracker says my order is "in production" but hasn't updated in weeks. Is something wrong?

Production is typically the longest stage — for handcrafted and upholstered pieces it can take 6 to 12 weeks with no status change. If it's been longer than the estimated timeframe shown on the tracker, please reach out and we'll check with the vendor directly.

How often does this page update?

We refresh order data once a day from our vendor and shipping systems. Some stages (like vendor production updates) are entered manually by our team, so a stage change may take up to 24 hours to appear here.

Can I get email or text notifications when my order status changes?

At this time, automatic email and text notifications are not available, but they are on our roadmap. For now, bookmark this page and check back.
